Six can sleep here without anyone drawing the short straw: a double bed behind each of the two bedroom doors, and the sofa bed in the living room for the last pair. Children usually claim it before anyone is asked. The living room is where everything happens, and the balcony off it gets the morning first.
Below the balcony the garden keeps a barbecue of its own, and evenings have a way of ending around it: the mountains one way, the water the other, and dinner somewhere in between.
