A Legacy of the Land
BioLand began as a family plot in the wooded hills above Novobërdë: a slope, a spring, and more pine than anyone knew what to do with. The houses came later, built by hand and in no particular hurry, the way things are built here.
The land sets the table here: a kitchen that cooks what the hills give, evenings that stretch long around the fire. What one family built now keeps its doors open to anyone after the same quiet.

Two Bedroom Villa
The largest of the houses: two double bedrooms, a sofa bed in the living room, a kitchen you can actually cook in, and a balcony with the water below and the mountains behind.

The lake sits right in front of the houses: a footpath along the shore, fish under the surface, and not much else. Nearly every villa looks straight onto it.

Up on the ridge
The ridge above the houses kept a city once: “of silver,” a chronicler wrote, “and truly of gold.” Its fortress still holds the skyline.
Novobërdë struck its own coins, had its own mining law, and stood forty days against the cannon of Mehmed the Conqueror. What is left keeps watch over the lake, an hour’s walk from our gate.
